Drum brakes are a thing of the past with Garage Style Gear's 14 bolt disc brake conversion kit. We took the headache out of maintaining those unreliable drum brakes and crafted these brackets to fit single rear wheel full float 14-bolt axles. These adapters will convert your 14 bolt axle to accept 2000-2006 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500 HD disk brakes.Once this adapter is bolted to your factory bracket, you then bolt on the 2500 HD backing plate and install the brake setup just as you would the rear brakes on any 2000-2006 Chevrolet/ GMC 2500 HD. This conversion not only gains you the ease and reliability of disc brakes, drops 22 lbs of weight, but also uses the 2500 HD parking brake! We've designed these adapters to be an easy bolt on weekend job by utilizing the existing backing plate flange of the 14 bolt axle without any welding.
